The Christchurch Community for Christian Meditation will be holding its first Community Day for 2020 on Saturday 4 April from 1:30 to 3:30pm. This will be held at the usual venue, i.e. the Chapel Street Centre, cnr Chapel St and Harewood Rd.
Yvonne Smith (retired Presbyterian minister, WCCM meditator, currently living in the Catlins midst the 'silence' of birdsong, seascapes and the Nuggets Lighthouse) will be our guest presenter.
Her topic will be: Curating Space for Silence - Do we curate space for silence or does silence curate space for us? Yvonne will reflect on the work of silence through the lens of Maggie Ross, an Anglican solitary who lives in the UK.
